You’ll learn about how social media communication is executed on behalf of a start up and leave the internship with a robust portfolio and experience of what it takes to make a start up thrive.

 

Here’s a sample of the things you’ll get to experience during your internship:

  • Create and post content for LaBré Bazaar designers and LaBré fashion line in the form of social media posts (Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Plus), blog posts, and newsletters to our listserv via mailchimp.
  • Research and strategize ways to increase LaBré’s social media following.
  • Research, reach out to, and secure new designers to join LaBré Bazaar.
  • Monitor online marketing strategies, Google Adwords, Google Display Ads, Instagram Ads, and Facebook Ads.
  • Create targeted automated campaigns based on location and browsing history.
  • Use social technology research to develop creative marketing strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Research LaBré ‘s competitors, in
  • dustry trends, influencers, and media targets every day to identify opportunities for press coverage, increased online presence, and endorsements.
  • Reach out to influences and bloggers in the industry.
  • Reach out to journalists and media to achieve LaBré features in local, national, and international magazines, newspapers, blogs, online, and visual media.
  • Write and send press releases to targeted media.
  • Research, seek, and secure celebrity endorsements of LaBré.
  • Attending weekly staff meetings.
  • Strategize and assist in creating LaBré photoshoot themes.
  • Write and post online ads seeking models for LaBré photoshoots.

 

The most qualified applicants will have the following attributes:

  • Knowledge of the company www.shoplabre.com
  • Experience with social media on (at least) a personal level (use on a business level preferred)
  • The ability to think strategically with an eye towards seeing how social media fits into a business’ marketing strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing and note-taking skills
  • Creative with an eye for design
  • Proficient (advanced prefered) knowledge of digital marketing
  • Advanced knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+, blogs, etc.

You’ll learn about how visual imagery and photography  is executed on behalf of an online start up and leave the internship with a robust portfolio and experience of what it takes to make a start up thrive.

This person will oversee the LaBré website, magazine, and social media channels to ensure a consistent brand story is being presented.  The ideal fellow will have experience in fashion photography.

 

Here’s a sample of the things you’ll get to experience during your internship:

  • Manage the imagery on the LaBré platform.
  • Strategize and assist in creating LaBré photoshoot themes.
  • Strategize and assist in creating LaBré video promo themes.
  • Conduct photoshoots for LaBré designs.
  • Be able to tell stories visually.
  • Create promo videos from video footage that you capture.
  • Collaborate with social media and communications interns who create and post content for LaBré in the form of social media posts (Buffer, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Plus).

The Fashion Editorial Fellow will be a master storyteller and will lead LaBré ‘s editorial content. This person will be a talented writer who knows how to curate and write stories that will shape LaBré’s  brand. As an Editorial Fellow you will shape the tone of our digital content and find opportunities to further integrate storytelling into the LaBré platform.

  • You  will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new designers to join LaBré Bazaar.
  • Oversee the retention of current designers with LaBré Bazaar.
  • You will work to help improve sales and overall brand quality by collaborating with the marketing intern to strategize and perfect marketing strategy.
  • Work with the Owner on The Fashion Made in Africa Initiative goal to achieve the stocking of African apparel and LaBré Bazaar designers in U.S. boutiques and department stores.
  • Research potential stockists.
  • Contact and set up meetings with potential stockists.
  • Work with the Owner on new monthly subscription box service.
  • Create resources to help sellers improve sellers
  • Onboard Brand Ambassadors.
